As you can see the pictures, this is Portis my 9 month rottie! He was born in March 1st. We got
him from a bad breeder. Portis is very shy and scared of everything but hes actually getting use to somethings. But mostly
his problem is being shy or scared around ppl he doesnt know. He's good with or without a leash. He's pottie trained. The
tricks that he know are give paw, high five, sit, lay down, and stay. He is a very sweet loveable puppy. He will wake you
up sometimes just to go outside and pee. He will wait untill youre awake and will put his head on your pillow so you could
rub his head. Thank you so much for helping me, this is one of the hardest thing i could do cause i am very attach to him
so much but sadly i have to let him go... please please help me find a great home for him. You can contact me at 240-478-0981.
THANK YOU SO MUCH,
Reina

The Story of Mark and Zorro....... Mark
and Zorro are wonderful, wonderful black labs that happen to also be brothers. We found them 7 years ago as puppies in one
of the back fields at a horse farm in Cherokee County . Mark and Zorro have lived their entire lives at the farm under the
care of the owner. Sadly the owner passed away and now the fate of the boys is in question.
They still live at the farm and are being cared for but this is not a permanent solution and worse
without a person that they consider their "owner" there and living in the house, the dogs are alone more than before
and they have begun to wander off, roaming along the street and the nearby subdivisions. They have been picked up several
times and neighbors are becoming upset. They are chipped so fortunately when they are picked up we get called and although
we do not live there we are able to get them home again. Recently what we fear most happened and Zorro was hit by a car. Fortunately
he was not hurt badly but the next time we may not be so lucky. With no one living in the house the boys are feeling a bit
lost and desperately want to be with people and be a part of a family again. In addition to getting hit, since they are so
friendly we are afraid that they will get picked up and fall into the wrong hands. So we are in a critical pinch to find a
home.
They are healthy, each about 100-105, neutered and up
to date on shots, etc. If Mark and Zorro could talk they would say " We would love to come live with someone that we
could consider our "human'"..."we are lots of fun and wouldn't cause any trouble we promise"! Also if
for any reason it would not work out we would gladly take them back and try to find another home. But as wonderful as they
are I can't imagine it not working! While keeping them together would be great they would be perfectly fine getting separate
loving homes! So even if you are interested and can take either Mark or Zorro that would be wonderful. They are housebroken
and even though they are large they think they are lapdogs and are very good inside dogs as well.

Seri is a female, 4 to 5 year old terrier mix. She has been screened by a vet
and is up to date on her all her shots and is free of parasites and has been checked for heartworm. She was rescued from her
life in West Virginia. I have attached some before and after pics as well as a video. She is free to a good home. She has
integrated well with other dogs and (after a day, she left them alone) cats. She is good with older children and adults. She
was somewhat terrorized by a very young kid and may be a little shy around them. She has not displayed any food aggressiveness. Contact

We are moving overseas in just 2 weeks. Unfortunately, I have still not been
able to find a good home for Cookie and Coco . We ' re not able to take our beloved doggies with us and I ' ve been desperately
trying to find a home for both of them ' together ' . They were raised together and pine without each other. The Lab rescue
have already said that they would probably separate them, so this is my last resort. Recently I tried to take Coco out in
my car alone and she TOTALLY refused to even get into the car without Cookie......!!!! She absolutely pulled back on her haunches
until Cookie was by her side. Both doggies are in great health, have been
spayed and have ID chips implanted under the skin. Cookie turned 3 December 10th and Coco turned 3 April 1st. Cookie
is my mellow-yellow, and just loves her tummy rubbed. Coco is adorably funny and lives for her "ball." She
also loves the water...... Cookie loves lots of attention. Both doggies are loyal and love to walk. They have been raised
with my 3 kids running around all over the place, and have survived Sammy ' s constant hugging and love of ' dress-up ' ,
so they are fantastic family dogs. This is by far one of the most difficult decisions I have ever had to make, but under the
circumstances I have no choice. Please, please forward these pics to all your friends. I want to find a great
home for these fabulous doggies. They are just adorable and it ' s heartbreaking to let them go. In a perfect world, I hope
that we could find someone local so that we can still keep in touch and visit them. I pray that someone, somewhere
can help us keep Cookie and Coco together, and love them just as much as we do.Thank you all from the bottom of my heart.mailto:heart.kjmorris74@yahoo.com

Do any of you guys know of a boarding facility that will
give a discount for boarding a dog? This pup was found by Diane Roadcap on the side of 495 and was hit by a car (see
leg below). Luckily it was just bruising. A girl who had also stopped to try and help ended up taking him to her
vet and then home (where she has 2 dogs – one an aggressive dog, and 2 cats) She kept him locked out in her back yard,
and tied to a tree in her front yard when her dogs were out and tonight ended up taking him to the shelter. She had
received a number of offers from people to foster the dog while we continue to look for his owners but for some reason didn’t
follow up on them. My friend Kevin Anderson also reached out to her about helping.
Foster care is our
first priority but we are also looking for a boarding facility as back up. Kevin is going on vacation for a week and
I don’t personally know the other folks who have stepped up
Any ideas or help would be
great – He seems to be a great dog, - neutered male – young (maybe 1-3 years according to Diane) HW – just
a bit bruised and battered from being hit by a car going 65 mph + (no microchip.. )
Thanks Chris
